Herve Balloux

 

Hervé Balloux is a partner at Datamax and Stratop Management Consulting.  His main interests are in performance measurement and improvement through the application of both quantitative and qualitative methods.  He has developed several methods encompassing Activity Based Management, Six Sigma and Risk Management, and has given numerous lectures at leading business schools in France.  He is also a Business Intelligence expert in marketing and finance.

He is a former partner of KPMG Consulting France, and was a manager at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants.  During his consulting career, he has managed strategy definition, company reengineering, organization and management systems projects for such well-known corporations as AXA, GE, Generali, Kodak, France Telecom, Carrefour, Caisse d’Epargne, Pinault-Printemps-Redoute and Schneider Electric.  He recently managed a large credit risk project for a bank within the framework of the Basel II agreement.  He is currently involved as a marketing expert in a commercial lawsuit between two large food companies.
  
He started his career in the UK with the M&M/Mars Group as a management scientist for the European operations, undertaking marketing and economic analyses in Europe and the USA.  He later held several positions within the finance function at Digital France. In particular, he was a member of the corporate task force in charge of setting up completely new project management standards for large systems integration projects.
 

Hervé Balloux holds an INSEAD MBA and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the “Ecole Superieure des Travaux Publics”.
