Dr. Maxwell is a leading international expert in the area of software development productivity and cost estimation. Her research has been published in such journals as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, IEEE Software, Management Science and Academic Press' prestigious "Advances in Computers" series. Katrina
Maxwell received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the After receiving her Ph.D., she decided to apply her quantitative skills to the business world and worked as a management scientist for the M&M/Mars Group analyzing the factors which influence the sales of their products. Between 1988-1997 she was a Research Fellow at INSEAD where she undertook research in the areas of economics, business policy, marketing, operations research and technology management. In 1997, she created DATAMAX to assist others in adding value to their data. She is currently a Senior Research Fellow at INSEAD. |
